FASST Program
What is the FASST Program?
Through a partnership between Family Service Spokane and East Valley School District, mental health counseling is made accessible to students within the district and their families by providing services at each school site under the FASST Program (Families and Schools Succeeding Together). FASST counselors not only meet with students and parents, but they also work closely with teachers and other school personnel to respond to the needs of students enrolled in services.
Services Offered
Services provided by FASST counselors may include the following:
- Individual counseling
- Family counseling
- Assessment and referral
- Crisis intervention
- Anger management and conflict resolution
- Problem solving and coping skills development
- Case management
- Group counseling
- Parenting support and education
Referrals, Hours and Cost
- Students can be referred to the FASST Program by contacting a school administrator, teacher or counselor.
- Services are provided during or after the school day.
- Services may be paid for by insurance, medical coupon or on a sliding fee scale. Access to services will not be denied due to inability to pay.
